Mitch Erickson ('72) majored in chemistry and now manages science for the Department of Homeland Security and does family stuff with his wife & 3 semi-adult sons. As one of the geezer Wikiheads, he is learning not only the mechanics, but the gestalt of the medium and having a blast at the same time. See his wiki.
Rachel Fields ('09) is a senior English major from the booming metropolis of Lemont, Illinois. She pledges her heart to Ritalin Test Squad improv troupe, writes for the S&B, and hangs around the SGA offices as if she actually has ties to student government. Sometimes she even goes to class.
Anna Gilbert ('09) is an independent major hailing from Charlotte, NC. She is a proud member of the track and debate teams and a co-founder of Renew. She will be interning in Denver, CO this summer before studying abroad in Krakow, Poland next fall.
Megan Goering ('08) is a recent graduate and an aspiring daily nap-taker. While at Grinnell, her soul occupied itself with SGA, debate, technology consulting, and economics. Born and raised in Topeka, KS, Megan will shortly be moving to Chicago to be a management consultant and (thus, a) loan-burdened sellout to The Man.
David Hechler ('72) is a senior reporter at The American Lawyer and Corporate Counsel, monthly magazines that cover the legal business. He was an English major at Grinnell, and in a past life he was a high school and junior high English teacher.
Harry Krejsa ('10) is majoring in Political Science and potentially concentrating in East Asian Studies. Harry is from Indianola, IA, and is involved in student government, microfinance through the Social Entrepreneurs of Grinnell, and the Grinnell Pep Band.
AJ Morey ('73) is Associate Vice Provost for Cross Disciplinary Studies and Planning at James Madison University. She sang in the now-defunct Scarleteers and Tanagers (Grinnell), and went on to even less fame in The Ivory Tower, After Dark, Loose Gravel and her current musical adventure, MayDay. Besides a great husband and two children, both of them now larger than she is, she loves horses and has two of them. They are larger than AJ as well.
Mike O'Connor ('72) is a retired type person now. The whole ghastly tale can be found on his personal web page as well as his wiki here. He majored in Drugs, Sex and Rock n'Roll at Grinnell and got an MBA (majoring in Fear vs Greed) at Cornell University. He splits his time between a Western Wisconsin farm (where he and his sweetie Marcie - class of '73 - are restoring about 400 acres of prairies, woods and wetlands) and a condo in St Paul, MN.
Emily Stiever ('09) is a senior majoring in Political Ecology (independent major) from Minnetonka, MN. Emily has been involved with environmental projects and campus and is a co-administrator for the Voicebox, Grinnell's activist resource center.
Ethan Struby ('10) is a junior Economics major (with a concentration in public policy, if it ever gets approved) from Kansas City. He is involved in the Debating Union, parliamentarian for Joint Board, and writes for the Grinnell Monologues.
Josh Tetenbaum ('10) is a junior English major from Amherst, MA. He's involved in KDIC, the Student Programming Committee, and recently started a board game club. He likes to organize things.
Eric Tjossem ('12) is a first-year and former Grinnell townie, currently the webmaster for KDIC 88.5 and an avid coffee appreciator. Ask him about hippie school!
