Open Throat Surgery was a campus band that existed during the 2005-2006 school year.

- Brent Shadel '08 guitar/vocals
- Kenneth Allison '07 Drums
- Matt Allen '08 Bass
After performing at the Freesound music house, Brent left the band due to musical differences.
Open Throat Surgery then continued on as a three-piece. The three remaining members went on to form Septisonick the following year
