Bob's Underground Café

Bob's Underground Café is a student-run coffee shop located in the basement of Main, accessible via Gardner Lounge. Named after a three-legged cat named Tripod Bob, Bob's offers numerous caffeinated drinks and variously prepared bagels and is home to various performances including major concerts, Monday jazz nights and Freesound concerts. Bob's hosts semifrequent open mic nights and study breaks as well.

Bob's is open every night from 8:00 pm to 1:00 am.

Bob's location was originally the campus pub. The pub closed down when the drinking age in Iowa was increased from 18 to 21, and was later resurrected as Lyle's.
